Default Deion Branch Could Go On PUP

The Seahawks already came out and said that WR Deion Branch won't be ready for Week 1 due to his torn ACL suffered in the playoffs.

Fantasy owners, stay far away.

We believe Branch could start the season on the PUP list, keeping him inactive until Week 9.

Do you think Nate Burelston will have a big year because of this?

I think he will, but only if he can catch the ball...

Which we already know he can't. I've seen more than enough of Burleson.

Where does Bobby Engram rank now? Who else does Seattle have? I think their only other WRs are pretty green. I thought 2007 was a fluke for Engram, but if Branch is gone for most the year, he might be able to repeat him numbers. How much of an impact will Carlson have? (assuming he doesn't miss any training camp)

Engram has served me very well these past few years. I expect the same from him for at least one more year. Let's review:

Branch - when he finally does heal up, if ever, people will realize he stinks
Burleson - we already know he stinks
Engram - why is everyone surprised when he becomes a reliable WR3 every year

Yet strangely enough, they didn't draft any WRs. Which begs the question.... who will step up and get the considerable numbers left over in the Seattle passing attack?

I will make an Idiot Prediction and say that man is their 2nd year prospect from Auburn, Ben Obomanu.
