Default Value of Curtis Loftin

I got someone interested in Curtis Loftin who is my best LB he is offering picks. I dont care if it is fair for himor not I just dont want myself screwed I told him I wantyed his first round draft pick for next year (as this years draft is already over) it is a 12 team league am I screwing myself with trading Loftin for this deal?

Pertinant information

My LBS

LB Curtis Loftin $1 5/5
LB David Thornton $2 2/3
LB Dan Connor $2 2/2
LB Bradie James $1 3/3
LB Chase Blackburn $1 4/4
LB Johnathan Vilma $2 1/1
LB Julian Peterson $1 3/3

He has starters at all positions but little depth which should net me a top 6 rookie pick I think.

Thoughts

My first impression is that Lofton is set for a pretty good year, but I think I would give him up for a top6 draft pick.

I'm sure you can guess my position Csam... I'd take a top-6 rookie pick over anyone except Willis

LOL I asked for the first and he countered with a 2nd and a 3rd for next year. I turned that down so I guess I will be reaping the rewards of Loftin in my lineup for the next 5 years.
